Everybody knows our global environment is suffering and most people, given the choice, want to do something constructive about it. But where do you begin, locally? How can one person even make a difference?
We can show you how. In fact you’ve already started – thanks for taking the time to visit our new website!
The Sustainable Living programme is a practical, fun way of learning about and testing everyday changes that will reduce your environmental impact at home. It’s an opportunity 'do your bit' now for future generations, and maybe save some money and help protect family health along the way. The Programme is independently managed from Christchurch and Auckland for 26 partner regional, city and district councils across NZ.
Contact the South Island coordinator (Rhys) at 03 960 2656 or North Island (Jennifer) at 09 6300 230 or see our listed courses and workshops by region.
Learn how you can save money and the world at the same time. Find out what would make your house healthier, or how you can reduce your weekly waste. Topics include transport, organic gardening, water saving, shopping choices, and more.
